The Smart Setting Panel is a free Android application for controlling thermostats, light switches and water heaters using the internet. With a paid application, you will need to know the addresses of different appliances, and connect to the Smart setting panel. I am not a big fan of using an app for anything else than its intended purpose, which is to control your home's heating and cooling. I found it very easy to use and get going with the application. The interface for each component is clear and easy to understand, allowing you to control everything with one single click of the mouse.
